Kingaroy Christian Fellowship

Continuing to shine the light from His Word

We are a Bible believing church.

The inerrancy of the King James Bible.

Romans 1:16
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

 We are Baptistic in Practise.

Salvation

When Mankind fell in in the Garden Genesis chapter three, mans will was not corrupted but his nature was. That meant that man can not work or do anything with the fallen nature we have inherited from Adam. This changed  mans fellowship with God. Salvation therefore is God doing something for man which man can not do . God did not give us religion, good works, morality for mans salvation, but sent his Son Jesus Christ who died for our sins, was buried and rose again. ( That is the good news the Gospel)

1 Corinthians 15:1-4  Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;  By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;  And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

Then how do I get saved?  or go to Heaven,  if I can’t do anything for it myself. We must then turn to God and call upon Him. As promised in Romans 10:13
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.  So there is something the Bible tells us to do and that is to ask Jesus Christ to be your Saviour by acknowledging that Christ died for you.

Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Baptism

Baptism in the Bible, is showing a good conscience towards God as a  step of obedience, after some one has trusted Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour.  This means that a person is being Baptised as a believer, not to be saved but to be a witness of the Lords Salvation. Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are yes saved through faith and not of yourselves: it is a gift of God. There are seven Baptisms in the Bible, beginning with Moses, and not all of them have the same purpose, for example Johns Baptism was for the Jews preparation of the first coming of Jesus Christ and Peters Baptism in Acts two is similar. The most important one in the Bible is the Baptism by the Spirit of God in 1 Corinthians 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit This Baptism takes place the moment a person believes Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that he heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after you that ye believed, ye were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,  This immediately gives the Believer eternal security, as they are now part of the family of God. Baptism dosent put anyone in anything, but is a picture of Salvation in Jesus Christ. 1 Thessalonians 1:9
9 For they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God;

1 Corinthians 4:1

Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God

We Believe in the seven mysteries of the King James Bible.

i

Mystery of Godliness.

1 Timothy 3:16. And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

This is dealing that Jesus Christ was God manifest in the flesh. (The Deity of Jesus Christ.)

I John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but prove the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3 and every spirit that confesseth not Jesus is not of God: and this is the spirit of the antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it cometh; and now it is in the world already.

i

Mystery of Christ in you.

Colossians 1:26-28, v27  To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
Christianity is God dwelling in the believer. Most modern day Christian worship, is about a god that is outside of the Believer.

The Bible says the Believer is the Temple of God.

i

Mystery of the Body Christ.

Ephesians 3:9 /5:30For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. 5:32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

1 Corinthians 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. ( The Spirt of God baptises us into a spiritual body, which is called the church (Singular)

Colossians 1:18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

This Baptism of the Spirit, into one body takes place at Salvation for both Jew and Gentiles.

i

Mystery of blindness to Israel.

Romans 11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

The fullness of the Gentiles are the kingdoms of this earth, which will end with the return of Jesus Christ to reign for a thousand years in Israel. Jerusalem will be trodden under foot until the thousand year reign of Christ.

Luke 21:24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

The Time of the Gentiles began when Jerusalem was destroyed by Nebuchadnezzar King of Babylon under the reign of Zedekiah King of Judah. The time of the Gentiles ends with the Literal return of Jesus Christ King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

i

Mystery of the church gathering.

1 Corinthians 15:51-52 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

1 Thessalonians 4:17
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

The Church, The  Body of Christ known as The  Bride of Christ will not suffer the prophecy of Daniels 70th week “ Jacobs trouble” concerning Israel, known as the Great Tribulation 2 Thessalonians 2:7-11, Matthew 24:15

i

Mystery of Iniquity.

2 Thessalonians 2:7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. This mystery is dealing with the god of this world.
2 Corinthians 4:3-4. In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

This mystery deals with the Anti Christ, deceiving Israel and sitting on the throne of David in the Temple that will be rebuilt,  in the  Daniels seventieth week, and in the midst of the week, which is seven years  all will be revealed that it is Satan that has set up the throne for himself. The god of this world, as with the time of the Gentiles will end  by the pre – millennial  reign of Christ. This is when the temple will be built by the Lord,

Acts 15:16 After these things I will return, And I will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen; And I will build again the ruins thereof, And I will set it up:

i

Mystery of Babylon.

Revelation 17:1-5  And upon her forehead was a name written, Mystery, Babylon the Great, the Mother of harlots and abominations of the earth.

This is Satans false religion, or false church which is destroyed in the midst of the seven year Tribulation.

Philippians 2:16
Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.

The King James Bible.

The King James Bible translators who had assembled under the reign of King James Proverbs 21:1 The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will, at the time when the English language was at its peak, Westminster, Oxford and Cambridge, linguists  were gathered for the one purpose of having the Bible written in the common languge.
The Bible was known as the King james Bible, but later was known as the  authorised version of av1611. The authorisation was given by Gods people who reconised it spiritual authorisation.
Please note: When reading this artical keep in mind that the texsus receptis, or received text was a complted work resulting from the above work. Ther had not been a complete New testamnet in Greek until around 1631.
Ecclesiastes 4:12  And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

The fulfilment of Scripture

Matthew 26:53-54 Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angles? But how then shall the scripture be fulfilled, that it must be. Jesus is referring to what has already been written in the Old Testament, the scriptures that had been kept by the then Levitical Priest Hood set up when the law was added given to Moses to the Nation Israel the Law. ( Moses wrote the first five books of scripture called the Pentateuch. )
If you have studied Religion, the majority of religions have adopted their scriptures from their founders or leaders. Those leaders all have one thing in common and that is they wrote their own creed according to either their visions or their interpretation and laws in-which many cases has become that religions creed.  But when you compare that to Jesus Christ, who did not come to write anything but had been sent to fulfil that which had already been written in this case the prophecies of the Old Testament.
There is little dispute about the  Old Testament which was written largely in Hebrew and had been kept by the Levitical Priest hood. The Old Testament is also a complete and accurate account of the Nation Israel. ( A good source on this subject is Robert Dick Wilson who was an American linguist and Presbyterian scholar who devoted his life to prove reliability of the Hebrew Bible.)
When Jesus began his earthly ministry it was with these words when he said to those in his own synagogue of Nazareth, as his custom was to read the scripture on the sabbath day,  Luke 4:16-21 And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears. ( Read the account). Jesus read from  Isaiah 61:1-4 The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; 2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God.
The first advent, Jesus Christ revealed a valuable lesson that the New Testament was  concealed in the Old Testament.
As seen with the disciples Luke 18:31-34 Then he took unto him the twelve, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of man shall be accomplished. For he shall be delivered unto the Gentiles, and shall be mocked, and spitefully entreated, and spitted on: And they shall scourge him, and put him to death: and the third day he shall rise again. And they understood none of these things: and this saying was hid from them, neither knew they the things which were spoken. (The Disciples were following Jesus concerning the Prophecy of the Messiah to restore the Kingdom to Israel, they weren’t looking at him as the Lamb of God which taketh away the sin of the world. ( That was hid from them, the redemptive work of the cross.)
After the Resurrection the third time Jesus appeared to the two disciples on the road to Emmaus when he opened up the scriptures once again revealing from Moses that he had come to fulfil scripture. Luke 24:27 Beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scripture the things concerning himself.
There is a thread that binds the Old Testament and the New Testament is there fulfilment of scripture, which is Jesus Christ himself. In Matthew 26:53-54 when Jesus said how shall then the scripture be fulfilled, that thus it must be?  The fulfilment of scripture is the fulfilment of the spoken word. Words become before writing them, called script. A child can speak words but is not able to write them. The word must be crucial to the character of God who cannot lie, Jesus said about Satan John 8:42- 45…that he abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him, when he speaketh a lie, he speakers of his own, for he is a liar and the father of it.
The first advent of Jesus Christ reveals the concealment of the New Testament in the Old Testament and the New Testament reveals the fulfilment of the Old Testament by the second advent of Jesus. Think of those two little words must be Matthew 26:53-54.
Hebrews 10;7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God. John 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify OF ME.

The Scriptures.

The term Scripture means writing as words existed before they were put into print, the spoken word, 2 Peter 1:21 For the Prophecy came not in the old by the will of man: but by holy men of God sake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.  The word  Bible means book singular, it is made up of books that when put together make a complete book without contradiction to the spoken word. Jesus said he had come to fulfil scripture, that is the spoken word, so it is important that scripture dosen’t contradict what Jesus said.  We have  now in the 21st Century over 200 English speaking Bibles since the King James. (SeeList)
So how then do I know Gods stamp of apporoval?  The best way is to likened this  as with a counterfeit bank notes, they may all  look the real deal, have the right words written on them such as Bible, and have the  support of those that printed them such as religious organisations and persons.  There is  one thing that should make them genuine that is missing such as what is called a hall mark, or water mark, or an official mark or stamp that can’t be copied which makes the article genuine.  As with the King James Bible, there is a hall mark or a thread that runs from the beginning of the article to the end which cant be broken.

The Concealment of Scripture.

Th  importance of the words of Christ when he said  he came to fulfil scripture, is significant to the fact that  the New Testament had been concealed in the Old Testament and now is revealed. So the Old and New Testament can’t disagree with each other which is the case with the King James Bible. The New Testament reveals the Old Testament. God has never been about hiding his word, and the day of Pentecost reveals that God would have the Jews understand the wonderful works of God in the common they spoke Act 2. The intent of the King James Bible follows that line from Antioch.
At the time of Christ the common language was Greek from Alexander the Great, the Jews spoke Hebrew as of the Old Testament and Rome was in power. When the Bible was translated, the  English language was at its height, it was then and is now the common language of the world. The time couldn’t have been better for theBible to be printed in English, as it was at the height.
However where scripture has been hidden began in Alexandria Egypt and the  translators of the 1609 Douay-Rheims Bible and the 1752 Challoner’s revision of the Douay – Reheims are the Catholic translations which  do not follow the pattern to put scripture into the common language. Instead they kept the scripture in Latin ( Rome ) and had no intention of putting the scripture into the common Language.  Note: Catholicism will always take the scripture out of the hands of the common people in this case hide it so as to produce their own Bible such as the Catholic vulgate.

Note: The chart reveals how that thread has been broken by so many since 1611.
