if it is by sight it is no longer faith
Our fellowship centres around the Bible as the builder of the believers faith and growth in God and the Gospel (the good news ) which is the death, burial and Ressurection of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Our worship is centred on the hymns of the faith and our practises are Biblical and Baptistic. We believe to identify with Jesus Christ is to be Baptised as a Believer after Salvation which is by Gods grace alone. ( whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved )
We offer Bible Training through our Bible training college and Bible classes through our fellowship.
We hold to the fact that Jesus Christ was God manifest in the flesh, the Lamb of God which taketh away the sin of the world, and that Jesus Christ finished the work that the Father had sent him to do, where at the cross he became the substutory atonment for all man kind, and that his blood is the only thing that will redeem man from adams fallen race. 1 John 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
The Gospel is found in: 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
The Gospel brings a man or a women to the fact that they need not call on ” an historical Jesus” but on him who lives for ever more Revelation 1:18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. to be their living Saviour.
Is in the inerrancy of the Kings James Bible for the English speaking people. We believe that God ordained the proclamation of truth by man to men. Therefore the essential truth is found in what the Bibles teaches, as it is not open to private interpretation 2 Peter 1:19-20.. We believe the English is superior to the Greek as for example the 1633 edition of the Texus receptus was the first complete Greek new testament which was a result of the King James Bible translators of 1611. We therefore reject all other versions and hold to the English of the King James Bible for all faith and practise.
We believe that the body of Christ, consists of all born again believers who were supernatural baptised into one body by the Spirit of God at salvation 1 Corinthians 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptised into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.1 Corinthians 12:27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
The manifestation of the body of Christ can be seen when we as believers gather together to meet and to worship around Gods word in our local church, until the time we all gather to meet the Lord in the air Acts 1:11
Water Baptism or as it is known as believers baptism, which is an open declaration of the believers trust in Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour and as a step of obedience out of a good conscience towards God their Saviour 1 Peter 3:1. We believe that water Baptism idintifies the Believer with the death, burial and Resurrection of Jesus Christ and that they now declare that they will walk in newness of life Romans 6:5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: 2 Corinthians 5:17
Kingaroy Christian fellowship is the result of our faith in the word of God, and that by Gods leeding the fellowship was estableised in 1915 on the 30th of August, on the grounds that it will reamin a Bible beleiving church so beleivers can hold onto the doctrines of our faith and faith in the Lord Jesus Chirst.
We Believe in the inerrancy of the King James Bible that God preserved the inspiration of scripture when translated into the English language, under the reign of King James 1611
