This is a study on the small word “unto” In the Chirstian faith we beleive that the King James Bible is the Word of God and all other versions will attack that authority. Notice how all versions will shift the authority from the written word to a man or woman..
Paul said to Timothy, who was being trained for the ministry of the word.
2 Timothy 2:15 (KJV) Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
2 Timothy 2:15 ( NiV ) Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.
2 Timothy 2:15 (ASV) Give diligence to present thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, handling aright the word of truth.
2 Timothy 2:15. (NKV) Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
2 Timothy 2:15. (ESV) Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.
The King James Bible says to Sudy to shew thyself approved unto God. In this Paul says to Timothy don’t be ashamed of rightly dividing the word of truth…and in this you will be approved “unto” God. The other versions shift the authorty form the written word of God to a man or woman. And by them just presenting themselves, they intern become the final authority, and not the Word of God.
Statement: Have you ever herd this statement? We will agree to disagree…Ussualy comes from does that have missed the importance of 2 Timothy 2:15.
2 Peter 1:20 K.J.V Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
Why is rightly dividing the word of God so important? Because your Christian faith could be influneced into areas that God Himself never intented…
Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:
And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.
For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
Here is one example how the Law does not apply but how Salvation in Jesus Christ does apply.
